The Broome County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a missing person investigation and requesting assistance from anyone who can provide information. Matthew Phillips, 34, from Pendell Hill Road in Whitney Point, was last seen on October 24 at 6:00 am. He left his residence and was riding a small BMX style bicycle. The bicycle was found alongside Rt 26 near Swan Hill Road. Phillips reportedly suffers from Schizophrenia. Phillips is 5’9” tall, approximately 150 pounds, brown hair and blue eyes. He may be wearing a brown Carhart style coat and carrying a black backpack.
