Care Compass Network will be awarding over $2 million to local hospital systems and community-based organizations. Eleven different organizations will be awarded funds to support 14 projects. The projects ranged from opening new centers for addiction and trauma recovery to expanding Mental Health First Aid Training to first responders to expanding mental health and primary care services. $400,000 will go to Addiction Center of Broome County for a new outpatient clinic and rehab program. Our Lady of Lourdes Memorial Hospital will receive $96,000 to expand diabetes prevention and mental health services. Meanwhile nearly $199,000 has been awarded to initiate Medication-Assisted Treatment in the Binghamton General Hospital Emergency Department.
