The Ithaca Police Department has made an arrest in a stabbing from back in June.
20-year-old Nazir Chisolm was arrested Friday in Maryville, Tennessee and transported back to Ithaca, where he will face the charge of attempted murder. He is currently being held in the Tompkins County Jail.
On June 12, Ithaca police responded to the 300 block of West Green Street for a reported dispute. There, they found a victim who had been stabbed.
The U.S. Marshals Service and the Blount County Sheriff’s Office in Tennessee helped locate and apprehend Chisolm.
