An Athens man is facing assault charges after he allegedly threatened a person with a machete.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police, 30-year-old Nicholas Cron threatened the victim with a machete in Windham Township on July 26th.
Cron has been charged with two felony counts of aggravated assault and misdemeanor counts of terroristic threats, reckless endangerment and simple assault.
The suspect is already in the Tioga County, New York Jail on separate charges.
Cron was previously charged with Robbery in the First Degree and Criminal Use of a Firearm in the First Degree, both class B felonies, and other related charges stemming from an Aug. 19th incident in Owego.
