The seventh annual Austin Streeter Memorial Cornhole Tournament is set for this weekend.
The annual event will be held on Saturday at Tanner’s Bar and Grill in Athens.
The tournament honors Austin Streeter, who was killed in a car accident back in 2019 in South Carolina at the age of 8. His parents are Valley natives Chris Streeter and Kelli Sinsabaugh.
All money raised goes to the Athens, Sayre and Waverly Littles Leagues as well as Christmas is for Kids here in the Valley, and Pee Dee Athletics in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Registration begins at noon and bags fly at 1 on Saturday. There will also be food, beverages, kids activities and t-shirts available.
