Binghamton man sentenced to state prison for delivering fentanyl in hospital

A Binghamton man will spend years in state prison for delivering fentanyl inside a local hospital.

According to the Bradford County District Attorney’s Office, 51-year-old Kirby Carlos Spruill was sentenced to a minimum of 45 months to a maximum of 12 years in state prison for possession with intent to deliver.

Spruill delivered 5.18 grams of fentanyl to a patient he was supposedly visiting inside the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre in December of 2024.

Spruill has a lengthy criminal history, including robbery, forgery and other drug delivery offenses.
