A longtime bar and restaurant space in Canton is back open.
The Canton Park Hotel and Tavern opened on Feb. 12 under new ownership after the previous business closed its doors a few months ago.
The building, located at 127 Troy Street in Canton, has been the home to many restaurants under several different names over the years.
In the past 20 years, it has been called Doc’s Irish Inn The Park Hotel and Brewing, and most recently Jimmy’s Park Hotel.
According to the Canton Sentinel, new owners Mark Zimmerman and Amy Owens have retained most of the former staff as well as a lot of the menu from the previous establishment.
The Canton Park Hotel and Tavern is open seven days a week.
