A Gillet man is facing 20 felony charges after firing more than 40 shots inside his garage with police present on Sunday.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police, 52-year-old Daniel James Reynolds did not engage police directly but fired additional rounds and refused to comply for about an hour.

Reynolds allegedly fired a long gun outside his residence while looking for someone who was not there. His neighbor then called police and Reynolds went into his garage.

Police found 44 spent shell casings and damage to multiple objects, including walls, a door, computer and car. They also discovered an AR-style rifle and several loaded magazines.

Reynolds was charged with 20 counts of second degree felony possession of a firearm while prohibited and intentional possession of a controlled substance.

He was remanded to the Bradford County Jail on $250,000 bail.
