HOPS Ambulance Association was recognized for 50 years of service to the community during a banquet Saturday.
The Herrickville-based EMS organization has served its home community, as well as Orwell, Pike, and Stevens Townships, since it was founded in 1975.
The event included the presentation of a proclamation from Bradford County Commissioner Daryl Miller and a citation from the state House of Representatives from state Rep. Tina Pickett, thanking the responders for their many years of service.
The organization had also celebrated the milestone last month with an open house.
