The North Towanda Dandy was impacted by bad gasoline from one of their regular fuel suppliers on Tuesday.
In a Facebook post, the local Dandy said a recent deliver included some bad gasoline due to scheduled maintenance with the supplier’s storage tank.
The Dandy stopped selling gas after becoming aware of issues that customers were having, including vehicles needing to be towed after becoming disabled.
The gas station completely pumped and cleaned out its tank, flushed the lines, replaced all filters and brought in a fresh load of fuel following the incident.
The gas pumps were back up and running by Tuesday evening.
