One person was killed and another seriously injured in a motorcycle crash over the weekend in Ulster.
The accident occurred on Route 220 at around 4:15 p.m. on Saturday.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police, two people were on a motorcycle traveling south when the bike went off the roadway while negotiating a left hand turn and entered a drainage ditch.
Both the driver and passenger were thrown from the bike during the incident.
The passenger, 45-year-old Towanda resident Valerie Schrader, was killed in the crash.
The driver, 43-year-old Towanda resident Scott Schrader, suffered serious injuries and was transported to the Robert Packer Hospital.
State police said both individuals were wearing helmets and other protective gear at the time of the crash.
