One person killed in Route 6 crash

One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Route 6 on Friday morning.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police, the crash occurred at around 3:15 a.m. on Route 6 near Wysox. The driver of a sedan, who was traveling west, crossed a double yellow line while going around a right-hand curve when they collided with a tractor-trailer head-on.

Both vehicles caught fire following the collision.

The driver of the sedan was declared dead at the scene. The driver of the tractor trailer was not injured.

The identity of the victim has not been released.
