A Sayre man is facing more than five hundred charges for allegedly sexually assaulting 17 women over the course of several years.

According to a press release from the Bradford County District Attorney’s Office, 45-year-old Sean Hall was arrested following a months-long investigation.

Hall has been charged with:

  • 69 counts of rape
  • 47 counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse
  • 56 counts of sexual assault
  • 198 counts of indecent assault
  • 127 counts of aggravated indecent assault
  • 18 counts of sexual extortion
  • 10 counts of strangulation
  • and other related crimes.

Hall is also accused of making meth at his Sayre home, and search warrants executed by the Bradford County Drug Task Force led to the discovery of not only drug-related evidence, but also evidence of the sexual assaults.

The District Attorney’s Office said police recovered video evidence of Hall sexually assaulting the victims.

According to police, Hall had multiple fake Facebook accounts that he allegedly used to contact more than 900 women with the purpose of luring women to sexually assault them.

Bradford County Detectives associated with the Drug Task Force, including detectives David Hart and Michael Lamanna, spent hundreds of hours reviewing countless videos of these assaults which involve non-consenting women being assaulted.

According to the press release, some of the victims were unconscious at the time of the assaults. In some cases, the assaults lasted several hours.

“Our county is extremely lucky to have committed Law Enforcement Personnel such as our Drug Task Force which works to cooperate with different police agencies in combating crime. My hat goes off to our detectives for recognizing the other evidence of a crime and I applaud their commitment in bringing these charges,” Bradford County District Attorney Richard Wilson said.

Wilson also thanked cooperating law enforcement agencies including the Pennsylvania State Police and Sayre Borough Police Department for their help in investigating these crimes.

The District Attorney’s Office asks that any additional victims contact the Bradford County Victim Witness Coordinator at 570-265-1759.

“I can promise that we will do our best to protect the identity of any callers and seek justice on their behalf,” added District Attorney Wilson.

Hall was arraigned on Friday and sent to the Bradford County Jail without bail.
