Shores Sisters in Wysox has received national recognition from the US Small Business Administration.
The popular business received the title of Rural Small Business of the Year.
Each year during National Small Business Week, the SBA recognizes exceptional businesses throughout all 50 states with regional and national awards.
Shores Sisters owners Renee Shores Wilson and Michael Wilson will travel to Washington, DC in early May to accept the award.
Opening back in 2004 as a roadside stand, Shores Sisters has grown into a major operation, now housed in a large building with a greenhouse, farmers market, cafe and more on the Golden Mile in Wysox.
