A Pennsylvania State Trooper suffered minor injuries during a car accident on Sunday morning.
According to police, a 73-year-old Monroeton man was driving a 2017 Jeep when he ran a red light on Route 220 in Greens Landing and struck the passenger side of a state trooper’s SUV while attempting to head up Wolcott Hollow Road.
Both drivers were taken to the Robert Packer Hospital for minor injuries.
The driver of the Jeep was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device and careless driving.
