A Towanda man is facing hundreds of charges for allegedly raping a child over the span of nearly two years.
According to police, 40-year-old Kyle Lane has been charged with 60 felony counts of rape of a child, 60 felony counts of statutory sexual assault, 30 felony counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, and other related charges.
Lane is accused of committing the crimes between the summer of 2023 and January of 2025.
The victim told family members about the abuse in February. State troopers then interviewed the victim, and would eventually search Lane’s Towanda home in March.
Lane was remanded to the Bradford County Jail on $1 million dollars bail.
