A Towanda man was recently sentenced for assaulting officers assisting in a Children and Youth Services investigation.
According to the Bradford County District Attorney’s Office, 19-year-old Tyrese A. Ford was sentenced to a minimum of 153 days to a maximum of 23 months and 29 days in the Bradford County Jail for the felony charge of aggravated assault.
The crime took place in June in Sheshequin Township.
According to District Attorney Richard Wilson, due to his lack of criminal record, Ford was able to avoid state prison time.
