Towanda woman facing charges after allegedly cuttking off ankle monitor, assaulting police

A Towanda woman is facing charges after she allegedly cut off her ankle monitor and assaulted police.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police, 39-year-old Fawn Greene has been charged with three counts of felony aggravated assault, two counts of institutional vandalism of an educational facility, flight to avoid apprehension/trial/punishment and resisting arrest.

Police went to a home on Locust Ave. in Towanda on Tuesday after Greene allegedly cut off her ankle monitor.

According to police, Greene was apprehended after intially running from the home. Greene allegedly kicked and scratched officers during the arrest, and also attempted to damage state police property by kicking the windows in a patrol vehicle.

Greene was remanded to the Bradford County Jail on $250,000 bail.
