Troy man convicted of sex crimes against children

A 40-year-old Troy man was convicted of numerous sex offenses in Bradford County Court last week.

According to the Bradford County District Attorney’s Office, Chase Ripley was found guilty of multiple crimes against children following a jury trial.

Ripley committed the crimes against two children in the summer of 2022 and spring of 2023 in Troy Borough.

The case was investigated and charged by the Troy Police Department. First assistant district attorney Brian Gallagher prosecuted the case on behalf of Bradford County.

Ripley will be sentenced on Nov. 21st. He faces a mandatory sentence of 10 to 20 years in state prison.
