Thousands of residents in the Valley were without power for several hours on Wednesday afternoon.
The first power outages were reported at around 1:30 p.m., with First Energy reporting at around 3:30 p.m. that nearly 8,000 customers were without power in Bradford County, with most coming from Athens and Sayre. Another 3,400 in the Waverly area were also without power.
As of 8 p.m. on Wednesday, all power was restored in the Valley area.
During the outage, Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital was unable to take incoming calls. Residents are able to call 800-300-5858 to reach the hospital.
