New Sayre Superintendent Mike Wells was officially sworn in during a ceremony at the Bradford County Courthouse on Monday.
Wells was sworn in by Bradford County President Judge Maureene Beirne.
Wells is taking over for former superintendent Dr. Jill Daloisio, who left the district on April 1 to take a position as assistant superintendent at the Twin Valley School District in Elverson, Pennsylvania.
Daloisio served as Sayre superintendent from 2019 to 2025.
Wells officially starts as the new Sayre Superintendent on July 1.
