Gillett man charged for attempted trailer arson

A Gillett man faces arson and other charges after allegedly trying to burn down a trailer in Wells Township. 

Pennsylvania State Police were dispatched to 375 Roaring Run Road around 5:30 p.m. July 29, where they say 42-year-old Paul Crispell was caught in the act. 

The trailer belonged to a 56-year-old woman. 

Crispell faces the charges of felony arson, and misdemeanor terroristic threats and simple assault. 

He was sent to the Bradford County Correctional Facility where the was unable to post the $175,000 bail. 

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Wednesday.
