A tractor trailer, carrying 33 head of cattle, overturned on the entry ramp to Route 81 in the Town of Chenango. The accident occurred at about 5:40 Tuesday morning. Driver Nathan Reiss of Quakertown, Pennsylvania was ticketed for unreasonable speed. Four of the cows died. Crews extricated the remaining 29 safely. Equipment, manpower, and machinery was brought in by Windsor Acres Farm to assist. The truck was en route from the Vernon, New York to Pennsylvania.
