(Chemung County, NY) – Recognizing the significant contributions of Chemung County’s entrepreneurs and small business owners, the Chemung County Chamber of Commerce will once again celebrate National Small Business Week through Friday, May 5. Join us for a weeklong celebration of our area’s small businesses and all that they mean to our community.

SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGN – The Chamber will showcase our local small businesses throughout Chemung County with creative and engaging content. Make sure to follow Chemung Chamber on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, through email campaigns, on the Chamber website, and our local media outreach.
EDUCATIONAL SEMINARS Throughout the Week, the Chamber and partners will host a series of seminars/webinars to assist our local small businesses with the following topics: Leadership Building, The 5 Cs of Credit, Customer Discovery, Planning for Business Financing and Understanding Your Options, Online Reputation Management, Funding Your Small Business.
SALUTE TO SMALL BUSINESS WEEK AWARDS BUSINESS AFTER BUSINESS: MAY 4 from 5:00-7:00. Join us on the Lake Street Pedestrian Bridge in Downtown Elmira as we recognize individuals and businesses who, through their independent entrepreneurial spirit, play a vital role in building the community and the economy. Music by John Manfredi, eats by Ill Eagle and beverages by Saratoga Eagle. *Registration appreciated. *In the event of inclement weather, the Business After Business will locate to Ill Eagle Tap House.
