A bicyclist was killed Wednesday in a crash involving a large motorhome in Horseheads.
According to the Chemung County Sheriff’s Office, 75-year-old Timothy Maney of Elmira was riding south along Lake Road when he suddenly veered into the driving lane and was struck by a large motorhome.
Maney was taken to the Arnot Ogden Medical Center where he died from his injuries.
The driver of the motorhome was found not at fault and will face no charges.
Police and fire crews from Elmira Heights, and Erway Ambulance assisted at the scene.
