A Bath man is facing felony charges after he allegedly tried to meet up with an underage girl.
According to police, 45-year-old Michael Harold Ellis was arrested on Sept. 16 and charged with two counts of criminal attempt statutory sexual assault and involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, both grade one felonies.
He was also charged with felony counts of aggravated indecent assault, corruption of minors and other related charges.
Ellis talked with a decoy from a predator hunting group. He believed he was talking with a 15-year-old girl.
The suspect made plans to meet up with the girl at a gas station in Brookville. He was arrested and remanded to the Jefferson County Prison on $50,000 bail.
