A Candor man is facing felony charges after allegedly stealing bags at Park Station last month.
According to the Chemung County Sheriff’s Office, 36-year-old Thomas Mitchell has been charged with two counts of felony grand larceny in the fourth degree.
Mitchell is accused of stealing a backpack and a duffel bag from guests at Park Station in the Town of Erin.
Police said Mitchell was caught on a security camera stealing the bags and leaving the area.
Mitchell was arrested on Wednesday, Sept. 3 at his home in Candor.
He was arraigned in Chemung County and then turned over to the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office on several outstanding warrants.
