The Tops grocery store in Big Flats is still closed after a fire occurred last week.
The fire started in the store’s refrigeration system on Monday, Aug. 25th. No one was injured in the incident.
According to WETM-TV, there is currently no electricity in the store which has been using an emergency generator since the fire.
Tops officials said that while the Big Flats store remains closed temporarily, customers can visit the Elmira location on Cedar Street.
State fire investigators are looking into the incident.
