The Chemung County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a crash that left one bicyclist seriously injured in the Town of Horseheads.
According to police, the accident involved a car and bicycle on Grand Central Avenue at Hemlock Street on Friday night.
The bicyclist was taken to the Arnot Ogden Medical Center before being airlifted to the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre with serious injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
