A Corning man is facing charges after he allegedly stole items from the Horseheads Walmart last week.
According to the New York State Police, 47-year-old Peter McCarthy has been charged with felony grand larceny in the fourth degree.
McCarthy is accused of stealing over $2,000 worth of items from the Walmart in the Southern Tier Crossing Plaza on Friday afternoon.
Following his arrest, police discovered that McCarthy had outstanding warrants.
Due to his prior felony convictions and warrants, he was remanded to the Chemung County Jail without bail.
