An Elmira couple has been indicted by a Steuben County Grand Jury in connection with a child abuse case.
Justin J. Baker and Caitlin M. Taft were both charged with multiple counts of assault after being accused of abusing or aiding in the abuse of a child under the age of 4.
The couple is also facing an enterprise corruption charge for allegedly abusing the child and filming it. They are also charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
The alleged abuse occurred between July and September last year.
Baker and Taft were remanded to the Steuben County Jail without bail.
