A 42-year-old man was killed in a one-car accident in Chemung County on Friday.
According to the Chemung County Sheriff’s Office, the accident occurred at around 4:30 a.m. on Jerusalem Hill Road in the Town of Elmira.
A 2019 Nissa Murano crashed into a tree on Jerusalem Hill Road near Bowlby Road. First responders found an unresponsive victim behind the wheel of the vehicle.
The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
