The Elmira Downtown Development group has picked a former Corning business leader as its new executive director.
Former Gaffer District event director Marshall Ferrari will take over the Executive Director role from Kylene Kiah, who is joining the new management team at the LECOM Event Center in Elmira.
Ferrari has experience with downtown revitalization, event planning and community engagement through his role with the Gaffer District.
Kiah led Elmira Downtown Development for three years.
