An Elmira woman was killed following a farming accident that occurred in the Town of Chemung in early August.
According to the New York State Police, 56-year-old Tammy L. Marler was killed after she was struck by a tractor while the operator was attempting to hook up farm equipment to the tractor.
The incident took place on Sunday, Aug. 11 in the area of Strops Road in Chemung.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
