Late last week, the Tioga County Sheriff’s Office received information that a wanted armed robbery suspect was at a residence in Elmira. Tioga County Sheriff investigators and Elmira City Police located Isaiah Ramirez hiding in an apartment. Ramirez was taken into custody without incident and arrested on felony robbery charges, criminal possession of a weapon, and grand larceny. Ramirez was arraigned in the Town of Tioga Court and remanded to the Tioga County Jail with no bail.
