Elmira Police are reporting that three people have died in a house fire on Home Street in the city on Saturday night. When the Elmira Fire Department arrived, they were informed that there were people trapped inside. The three people were rescued and taken to Arnot Ogden Hospital, but all suffered fatal injuries from the fire. The victims were identified as 29-year-old Samuel Sheridan, 5-year-old Trinity Sheridan, and 6-year-old Omar Sheridan. The fire is under investigation.
