A fire damaged two homes on Corning’s north side on Thursday afternoon.
According to WENY-TV, firefighters responded to a carport fire on Gorton Street just before 3 pm on Thursday. The carport was located between two homes and the fire quickly spread, causing significant damage to both.
Firefighters were able to put the fire out by 3:45 p.m.
The Corning Fire Department, Corning Joint Fire District and Painted Post Fire Department responded to the fire.
