The New York State Police have identified the man killed in the crash on Interstate 86 on Monday.
According to police, 67-year-old Lowman resident John Miller was killed in the two-car crash, which occurred shortly after noon on I-86 near the Lowman exit.
According to police, a 44-year-old driver of a tractor trailer crashed into a sedan driven by Miller, who was heading the wrong way on the highway.
Miller was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the tractor trailer was treated for minor injuries.
The car accident is under investigation.
