One of the most traveled roads in Elmira will soon have a reduced speed limit.
According to the New York State Department of Transportation, a section of the Clemens Center Parkway from East Second Street to the end of the Clemens Center Bridge will be going from a 40 miles per hour to 35 miles per hour speed limit next month.
The change is expected to take place on Tuesday, Sept. 2nd.
New signs will be installed and the speed limit change will take effect immediately.
