The Chemung County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victim in the fatal crash in Elmira on May 30th.
According to police, 42-year-old Southport resident Andrew Marangoni was killed when he lost control of his vehicle on Jerusalem Hill Road and struck a tree.
Police said Marangoni was not wearing a seatbelt and evidence at the scene indicated that alcohol or other substances were contributing factors in the accident.
