The Chemung County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of a fugitive of justice from out of Georgia.
According to police, 23-year-old Jaquan N. Boykin of Southport was pulled over for a traffic stop. Deputies found that Boykin had an active warrant from Gwinnett County, Georgia for the possession of methamphetamine.
Boykin was taken into custody and remanded to the Chemung County Jail where he is awaiting extradition.
