An Elmira man is facing charges after he was allegedly found outside a business with a large amount of drugs.
According to the Chemung County Sheriff’s Office, 29-year-old Drew M. Shaffer has been charged with felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell in the third and fifth degrees and misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Shaffer was arrested in his vehicle behind a business in Big Flats on Tuesday, March 24.
Deputies said they found a large amount of narcotics, including meth and other paraphernalia.
Shaffer was charged and released to appear in court at a later date.
