Firefighters responded to a structure fire in Elmira on Thursday evening.
The fire started at around 8:05 p.m. on Mackey Place.
According to WETM-TV, flames and smoke were seen from the upper level of the home.
Multiple witnesses at the scene said they heard what they thought sounded like an explosion.
No further information has been released at this time.
