The Village of Horseheads has been awarded a capital grant to renovate the Thorne Street Pool.
New York Gov. Kathy Hochul announced Monday that more than $67 million dolars in capital grants were awarded through the New York Statewide Investment in More Swimming Initiative.
The Village of Horseheads has been awarded $4 million dollars for renovations at the Thorne Street Pool.
The money will be used to replace the pool and renovate the pool house at Thorne Street Park.
Through two rounds of the New York SWIMS initiative, the state has handed out $200 million dollars to support 57 projects.
