The LECOM Event Center has entered into a partnership with a professional event management company.
The partnership is with OYD Management and OYD Live, which will look to bring more events and activities to the arena in downtown Elmira.
Arena officials are hoping to see a full event calendar year-round, including concerts, comedy nights, festivals, sporting events and family-friendly activities.
The LECOM Event Center and OYD Management will be holding community listening sessions looking for feedback on what the community would like to see come to the arena.
The LECOM Event Center recently completed a transition to private ownership to the Stemerman Sports Entertainment LLC. It was previously owned by the Chemung County Industrial Development Agency and Chemung County Capital Resource Corporation.
