A Schuyler County man has been sentenced to time in state prison after pleading guilty to a drug charge.
According to the Schuyler County District Attorney’s Office, 43-year-old Montour Falls resident Christopher L. Yaw has been sentenced to nine years in prison for criminal possession of a controlled substance in the second degree.
Yaw was arrested in September after police executed a search warrant at his home and found over two ounces of meth, drug manufacturing equipment and packaging materials.
He will also have to serve five years of post-release supervision following his prison term.
