Three people were injured in a car vs. horse-and-buggy accident in Yates County on Sunday afternoon.
According to the Yates County Sheriff’s Office, the accident occurred at around 2:30 p.m. on Sunday on Six Corners Road in the Town of Barrington, which is between Seneca Lake and Keuka Lake.
A car was traveling south when they hit the buggy. All three people in the buggy were ejected and had to be flown to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment.
The driver and passenger of the car were not injured in the crash. The driver was charged with a traffic violation.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
