Two people were injured in a stabbing incident in Elmira on Friday night.
According to Elmira Police, the incident occurred at around 10:49 p.m. n Friday on Harriet Street.
Officers found two victims with stab wounds in need of emergency medical attention. They were transported to the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre and were listed in stable condition.
A suspect, who has been identified as Allahvelle Carston, allegedly stabbed both individuals.
The suspect was also injured in the incident, but refused medical attention at the scene.
Carston has been charged with felony assault in the first and second degrees.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
