A home in Bath was damaged during a chimney fire on Thursday afternoon.
According to the Bath Volunteer fire Department, the fire started just after 4 p.m. at a home on County Route 11.
The fire started in the chimney, but quickly spread through about half the home.
Two people and their animals were home at the time of the fire. All were able to escape without injuries.
The Red Cross is assisting the family.
