A fire destroyed a home in Dushore last week.
Firefighters responded to a structure fire on Marsh Road at around 8:30 p.m. on Friday night.
The fire was knocked down by 10 p.m. The cause of the fire has been ruled accidental, most likely caused by a faulty space heater.
No one was inside the residence at the time of the fire, but two dogs were killed in the blaze.
The home belonged to Bradford County Elections Director Renee Smithkors and her family.
Firefighters from Dushore, Mildred, Eagles Mere, Muncy Valley, Forksville, Wilmot and New Albany responded to the scene.
